Vaya Casa truly exceeded my expectations, offering a unique castle atmosphere that felt like a step back in time. The attention to detail in the medieval Spanish decor and craftsmanship is truly a labor of love, reflecting a blend of history and modern comfort. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, accommodating our group of five with ease, and the medieval decorations added a fun and intriguing touch to our stay.The warm welcome and friendly personnel made us feel right at home, while the health security standards in place during these times provided peace of mind. We enjoyed the convenience of the shared kitchen to prepare our own meals, and the option to chill our drinks in the fridge and use the honor system for payment was a thoughtful touch. The location was great, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, and the surrounding area offered plenty of outdoor activities to explore the natural beauty of the Black Forest.Vaya Casa's barbecue in the inner courtyard was a delightful option for a cozy evening, and the shared lounge and terrace provided perfect spots to unwind after a day of adventures. This 3-star guesthouse managed by professional hosts is a hidden gem in Kappelrodeck, offering a charming blend of medieval charm and modern amenities that cater to both history enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike.
